Job summary

Cortex EPCM LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design electrical power distribution systems from low to high voltage, including MCCs and control panels. The role requires coordinating with multiple engineering teams and clients to deliver robust power infrastructure solutions.

You will research client requests, develop startup testing for power equipment, and help plan projects with tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of power infrastructure design.
• Ability to interpret and evaluate design drawings, schematics, and systems.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain quality under pressure.
• High level of conscientiousness and attention to detail.
• Experience in a factory environment.
• Familiarity with GMP environments.
• Ability to work alone or in groups as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in electrical power systems design and related functions.
• Design electrical power distribution, MCCs and control panels; create schematics using AutoCAD.
• Research and analyze client power infrastructure requests.
• Participate in planning, cost development, and scheduling for projects.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical groups to design systems for projects.
• Develop and test startup of power equipment as required.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot power equipment in the field.
• Participate in team and group meetings.
• All other duties as assigned.
