Job summary

Specialist Staffing Group seeks an Engineer with 1-5 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor's degree to apply engineering processes, design criteria, and software to design and construct power-related systems.

You will support estimate preparation, develop design options, prepare construction specifications, provide guidance and QA reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages; duties include CAD updates, site

Qualifications

Requires 1-5 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor's degree.
Minimum 2 years of required CAD experience.
Experience with site walk downs.
Understanding of planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance processes.
Ability to read and update mechanical drawings (P&IDs).

Responsibilities

Creating a safe work environment by putting safety first.
Understanding the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance.
Understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance.
Understanding design practices and work processes.
Using all software applications used in design.
Supporting design standard and criteria development for the system.
Supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations.
Estimating material for projects.
Transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications.
