Job summary

Buckeye Power Sales is seeking an Applications Engineer for our Power Systems Division to promote Rehlko brand systems and provide technical leadership. You will conduct engineering and contractor presentations, train customers, and size specifications to meet codes while supporting internal teams and field personnel.

The role emphasizes personal development, customer service excellence, and dedicated ownership of project outcomes in a collaborative, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in electrical power systems preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• First-rate customer service skills.
• Advanced math skills.
• Able to work unsupervised; able to work independently.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to travel overnight.
• Clean driving record; insurable with the company insurance carrier.
• Must be able to pass a background check and periodic drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Promoting the Company and Rehlko brand systems.
• Conducting Engineering and Contractor presentations.
• Promoting and training Rehlko Power Solutions Software.
• Sizing and driving favorable specifications within affected Codes.
• Offering technical assistance within the Company and to customers.
• Attending meetings and contributing to company strategy and policy-making as required.
• Attending business functions, such as trade shows and conferences as a guest and/or presenter.
• Developing personal skills and capabilities through on-going training.
• Achieving business and organizational goals, visions, and objectives.
• Identifying problems and providing quality solutions.
