Job summary

ETAP in Irvine, CA is seeking a Power System Engineer to expand the Data Exchange Department. Qualifications

• 1.5+ years’ experience in design and/or operations of electric utility transmission and distribution systems.
• Familiarity with power system analysis and simulation.
• Experience with power system analysis software such as Revit, AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, EMTP-RV, PSCAD, CYME, PSLF.
• Knowledge of GIS, MEP, CAD.
• Experience using AI tools and programming to automate integration workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports.

Responsibilities

• Utilize engineering and mathematical concepts in the design, coding, and testing of software components.
• Proficiency in modeling for transmission and distribution power systems.
• Perform power flow, short circuit analysis and protection & coordination.
• Provide client support and technical issue resolution via email and phone.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients and teammates.
