Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power or Energy Systems.
  • Up to 1 year of experience (or strong academic exposure) in power system studies.
  • Coursework or hands-on experience with power system simulation tools (PSS/E, PSCAD, ETAP, CYME, MATLAB).
  • Interest in transmission, distribution, renewables, or grid modernization; strong analytical skills; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior consultants in planning and delivering energy consulting studies.
  • Develop and run power system simulation models under guidance.
  • Assist with technical analysis and interpretation of study results.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.
  • Contribute to research, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Learn and apply industry standards, grid codes, and best practices.

As a Junior Energy Consulting Engineer, you’ll work alongside experienced consultants on studies that help utilities, generators, and grid operators address technical, economic, and regulatory challenges. You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to real‑world projects, advanced analytical tools, and customer interactions, all within a supportive environment designed to help you learn and grow.
