K&A Engineering in Rochester, NY seeks a Project Manager II to join our energetic team. You will coordinate transmission/substation projects, supervise monthly reporting, and help lead project execution from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of project management experience in the utility sector, a degree (Assoc or BA), and PMP/CAPM is preferred. This onsite role offers growth, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in Project Management.
• Utility experience required.
• PMP or CAPM certification is preferred.
• Working knowledge of project management principles.
• Project leadership, risk management and collaboration experience.
• Onsite Position; reports daily to the office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Project Manager and team; coordinate all aspects of transmission/substation projects.
• Coordinate and lead monthly project reporting; collect and compile data.
• Develop project approach and implement project execution plan.
• Monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs.
• Support financials, staffing, risk management, change management, contract management, and resource management for all projects.
• Ensure deliverables meet client satisfaction and QA/QC guidelines.
• Promote a can-do attitude and meet deadlines with quality across the team.
