Tekgence Inc. seeks a hands-on Power Platform Specialist to support and enhance business applications built with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint lists, and SQL databases. The role requires independent troubleshooting, business requirements understanding, and the ability to develop reliable, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and supporting production Power Platform solutions.
• Strong SharePoint customization and integration with Power Platform.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server or Azure SQL).
• Power Fx skills with delegation, filtering, collections, and efficient data retrieval.
• Experience with workflow error handling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery.
• Understanding of access controls, connection ownership, and secure handling of business data.
• Ability to take over existing solutions and communicate with technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Power Apps canvas applications, including forms, galleries, reusable components, Power Fx formulas, validation, and data updates.
• Configure and manage SharePoint custom lists, including columns, views, lookup relationships, indexing, and permissions.
• Develop and maintain Power Automate cloud flows for approvals, notifications, scheduled processing, and data synchronization.
• Integrate applications and workflows with SharePoint and SQL databases using appropriate connectors and secure connections.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries, joins, views, and stored procedures to support application functionality and data validation.
• Diagnose and resolve application errors, workflow failures, connection issues, and performance problems.
• Work with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, implement enhancements, and support user acceptance testing.
• Maintain technical documentation, support instructions, and knowledge transfer materials.

• Strong practical knowledge of SharePoint custom lists and their integration with Power Platform.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL.
• Strong Power Fx skills and an understanding of delegation, filtering, collections, and efficient data retrieval.
• Experience with workflow error handling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery.
• Understanding of access controls, connection ownership, and secure handling of business data.
• Ability to take over existing solutions, work independently, and communicate clearly with technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power Platform solutions, environment variables, connection references, and deployment across development, test, and production environments.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, custom connectors, and on-premises data gateways.
