Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is hiring a Solutions Architect to design and guide enterprise Microsoft 365 implementations. You will support the M365 cloud, balance technical capabilities with operations, and help evaluate new solutions for improved performance and adoption.

Responsibilities include leading M365 architecture, Power Platform administration, and developing enterprise solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or have lawful permanent residence in the United States.
• Active Microsoft certifications such as MS-102 or SC-300 are required.
• Ability to pass federal background investigation and obtain a Public Trust.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 in a large org or gov environment.
• Expert-level Power Platform administration and development experience.
• Strong experience securing Power Platform environments and governance.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance tools.
• Proficiency with .NET technologies and PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with Exchange Online, Intune, Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Architect M365-based solutions for enterprise collaboration and scalable service delivery.
• Serve as Power Platform Administrator across environments and licensing.
• Provide expert Power Platform development support (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Lead security efforts including access controls, DLP policies, and governance.
• Coordinate with security/compliance to align solutions with data governance.
• Support Purview capabilities including retention and auditing.
• Assess Dataverse performance and propose architectural improvements.
• Troubleshoot M365 incidents and user-facing issues.
• Support OneDrive tenant and backup solution architecture.
• Contribute to SharePoint Online architecture and admin activities.
• Lead pilot projects, document findings, and propose scalable paths.
• Develop scripting to improve automation and administration.
• Maintain architecture docs, schedules, risks, and stakeholder reporting.
