Job summary

Edge Tech is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect in the United States to design and deliver enterprise Power Platform solutions, incorporating Copilot Studio and Agentic AI. You will own core capabilities and work directly with the Microsoft Practice Lead and enterprise clients.

Responsibilities include end-to-end solution design across Power Apps, Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Power BI; building secure integrations; mentoring a team; supporting presales with estimates

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Power Platform experience with 3+ years hands-on in Power Automate, Power Apps and Dataverse.
• Production experience with Copilot Studio in enterprise deployments.
• 2+ years in senior/lead role with delivery team mentoring.
• Strong governance and client-facing leadership experience.

About the Opportunity

Our client is an international technology services and consultancy headquartered in Texas. They are a UiPath Diamond Partner, working with enterprise clients including British Airways, Texas Children’s Hospital, and IAG.

Following a recent $15M funding round and rapid growth across their Microsoft practice, they are expanding their engineering team and hiring a Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect to design and deliver enterprise Power Platform solutions incorporating Copilot Studio and Agentic AI.

This is an opportunity to work on end-to-end Power Platform engagements, Copilot Studio agents, and enterprise AI infrastructure, while helping shape a growing practice that is redefining how enterprises leverage Agentic AI.

What You'll Do

You’ll take ownership of core Power Platform capabilities that power our client’s Microsoft practice, working directly with the Microsoft Practice Lead and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end solution design for complex Power Platform engagements, applying the Power Platform Well-Architected Framework across all five pillars.
• Architect, build, and deploy production solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Power BI.
• Design and deploy Copilot Studio agents using generative orchestration, generative actions, knowledge sources, and autonomous triggers, with appropriate enterprise guardrails.
• Build secure, scalable integrations with line-of-business systems using custom connectors, Dataverse virtual tables, and the Power Platform connector ecosystem.
• Supervise and mentor a team of Power Platform consultants and developers, with responsibility for technical quality, code review standards, and individual growth.
• Support presales engagements, including solution shaping, effort estimation, technical proposal writing, and client pitches.

What Our Client Is Looking For:

We’re looking for engineers who have built and operated production Power Platform solutions at enterprise scale - not simply supported infrastructure within large organisations.

Ideally, You’ll Have

• 5+ years of relevant Microsoft Power Platform experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience across Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
• Real production experience with Copilot Studio, including building and deploying agents in production rather than solely working on demos or POCs.
• 2+ years in a senior, lead, or supervisory role, with a track record of building and mentoring delivery teams.
• Strong Power Platform governance experience, including:
• Managed Environments
• ALM Accelerator
• Environment strategy
• Demonstrable client-facing experience, including requirements gathering, solution shaping, and technical leadership with senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal English, with the ability to make complex technical decisions accessible to non-technical audiences.
• PL-600 certification strongly preferred. PL-400 or PL-200 certifications are also valuable.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder - visa sponsorship is not available.

What Our Client Is Not Looking For

• Candidates with Copilot Studio listed on their CV but no production deployment experience.
• Candidates with an Architect title but no evidence of team leadership or mentoring.
• Candidates who list governance as a skill but have never actually implemented or established governance frameworks.
• Candidates with 10+ years of experience and an Architect title but no PL-600 certification.
• Candidates with multiple short-term stints without evidence of sustained delivery or progression.
