Job summary

Prometheus Federal Services is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with data‑engineering expertise to design and build Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions using VA/VHA data assets and the Corporate Data Warehouse. You will own end‑to‑end delivery, from data modeling to ALM governance, ensuring scalable and compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• 4–6 years building solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform, across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Demonstrated Power Apps development: Dataverse modeling, screen/form design, Power Fx logic, and data connections to Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL‑based sources.
• Demonstrated Power Automate development: cloud flows using connectors, expressions, and error handling for data movement, approvals, and process automation.
• Demonstrated Power BI development: data modeling, DAX, Power Query (M), refresh, and report/dashboard delivery.
• Hands‑on data engineering experience: building ETL/ELT or data pipelines, data modeling, and working with structured and semi‑structured data from multiple systems.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
• Working knowledge of Power Platform data connectivity and governed data assets.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Power Apps across VA/VHA data assets.
• Architect Dataverse as the application data backbone.
• Connect apps to Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and the CDW using standard and premium connectors.
• Build responsive, accessible screens and implement Power Fx logic.
• Develop reusable components and PCF controls.
• Apply ALM, governance, and source control across environments.
• Optimize app performance and enforce security and data loss prevention policies.
