Job summary

Blue Water Thinking is seeking a Software Developer (Microsoft Power Platform) to develop and maintain business solutions within the VAEC framework for the VA OAA Data Management Center (DMC).

In this role, you will support the DMC portfolio of Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI reports, and SharePoint integrations, ensuring all solutions comply with VA governance, security, and active umbrella ATO requirements (FIPS 199 Moderate).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Proven hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Experience with SQL databases and SharePoint integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Support Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint integrations.
• Develop Power BI reports and dashboards using existing licenses and gateway.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with SQL databases and .NET applications.
• Maintain DMC SharePoint environment and public-facing components.
• Ensure Power Platform solutions comply with VA governance, security, and ATO requirements.
• Support user testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of low-code solutions.
• Document application logic, workflows, and data dependencies.
