Job summary

Coho Consulting Group seeks a Power Platform Developer/Engineer to support WHS HRD, providing direct customer support for Power Platform, SharePoint, and related integrations and process automation.

This hybrid role requires onsite presence 2–3 days per week at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA, reporting to the Program Manager. Active Secret Clearance and a relevant engineering or CS degree are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field as listed.
  • Minimum five years of expert experience; federal government experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, Dataverse, and related Microsoft 365 services.

Responsibilities

  • Administer SharePoint Online site collections, permissions, content management, and user support.
  • Design and implement Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to automate business processes.
  • Configure integration between SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, Power Platform, Dataverse, OneDrive).
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues across SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform including upgrades and migrations.
  • Stay updated on Copilot/AI, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform trends to improve solutions.

Job description

Coho Consulting Group is seeking a Power Platform Developer/Engineer to support the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Human Resources Directorate (HRD), providing direct support to customers of the Technology & Data Support Division (TDSD) with Power Platform, SharePoint, and other technology integrations and process automations.

This hybrid position is required onsite at least 2-3 days per week at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA and reports to the Program Manager.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • SharePoint Online Administration & Support:
    • Administer SharePoint Online site collections, encompassing comprehensive permissions management, effective content management strategies, site configuration, and user support. Provide ongoing assistance to SharePoint stakeholders for site content updates, access requests, troubleshooting, and new requirement implementation to ensure continuous business operations.
  • Power Platform Solution Implementation:
    • Design and implement robust and scalable Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to automate business processes, streamline workflows, and drive operational efficiency across the organization. This includes developing technical specifications, configuring systems, testing, and providing end-user training.
  • Microsoft 365 Integration:
    • Configure and maintain seamless integration between SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 applications, such as Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, Dataverse, and OneDrive, ensuring optimal user experience, efficient data flow, and collaborative workflows.
  • Proactively troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues related to SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and the Power Platform, including upgrades, migrations, outages, performance bottlenecks, and security
  • Maintain a current understanding of the latest trends, features, updates, and best practices in Copilot/AI features, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and the Power Platform, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new capabilities to enhance existing solutions, develop innovative approaches, and improve overall system effectiveness

Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Clearance:
    • Active Secret Clearance required
  • Education:
    • A bachelor's degree in systems engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or a related engineering discipline
  • Experience:
    • At least five years of expert experience with the applications Federal government experience preferred but not required
    • Demonstrated expertise with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Canvas & Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate flows, Dynamics CRM 365, Power Bi reports, Dataverse, OneDrive, CoPilot
    • Preferred experience managing and maintaining Dataverse environments, including data modeling, and security configuration to ensure data integrity and accessibility
Position Pay Range

$125,000 - $145,000 USD
