Job summary

Recru is modernizing a legacy VB.NET desktop application into a Power Platform-based solution, while supporting existing enterprise apps within an Azure environment and governance standards.

You will design offline-capable applications for operational users, collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements, and oversee 5-10 Power Platform apps used by 500+ employees.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse in enterprise contexts.
• Proven ability to support and enhance existing Power Platform apps not originally developed by you.
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Azure services and governance.

This role modernizes a legacy VB.NET desktop application into a Power Platform solution, supports existing enterprise apps, and contributes to the Power Platform Center of Excellence. The developer will work within an Azure-based environment and help maintain governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the redevelopment of a VB.NET desktop application into a Power Platform-based solution.

• Design and build applications that support offline/mobile capabilities for operational users.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements, review technical designs, and recommend best practices.

• Support and enhance 5-10 existing Power Platform applications used by 500+ employees.

• Troubleshoot production issues, implement enhancements, and maintain applications built by other developers.

• Work within an Azure-based environment following established governance and development standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Platform governance.

• Experience building and supporting enterprise Power Platform applications.

• Proven ability to support, troubleshoot, and enhance applications you did not originally develop.

• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Azure services.

• Familiarity with application architecture, ALM, and Power Platform best practices.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.

• Background in VB.NET, C#, or modern .NET development.

• Experience evaluating when low-code solutions should transition to traditional application development.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience developing applications that function in offline mode is highly preferred.
