Job summary

TrueTandem, LLC is seeking a Power Platform Developer to help modernize government systems. You will design and implement Power Apps, Dataverse models, and Automate workflows within Agile teams, collaborating with analysts, architects, and leadership.

The role requires a DHS/DOD security clearance and a BS in a technical field, with 5+ years of software development and 3+ years in Power Platform. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • US citizen with DHS EOD or DOD Secret Clearance or higher.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on .NET/C# experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Experience integrating using REST APIs, Azure services, and related tools.
  • Experience delivering in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to solution design, data models, integration patterns, and automation strategies.
  • Build and enhance Power Apps, Dataverse solutions, and Power Automate workflows.
  • Develop Canvas and Model-Driven Apps and public-facing Power Pages solutions.
  • Support data pipelines, external integrations, and CDC internal systems.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution design.
  • Modernize legacy applications and business processes.
  • Review code and configurations for quality and maintainability.
  • Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.
  • Support production deployments and release management.
  • Ensure security, privacy, and Section 508 accessibility compliance.

As aPower Platform Developer on our solutions delivery team, you will contribute to the digital transformation of mission-critical government systems. The role works with stakeholders, business analysts, architects, and project leadership to build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that support customer modernization objectives.The Power Platform Developer builds, enhances, tests, deploys, and maintains Microsoft Power Platform solutions that support mission programs. This contributor role supports application modernization by developing Power Apps, automating business processes with Power Automate, maintaining Dataverse data models, and assisting with integration, testing, and operations. The developer works within Agile teams to deliver secure, scalable, user-centered solutions that meet federal security and accessibility requirements.Technical team members work independently on assigned tasks, collaborate effectively with project teams, and bring curiosity and problem-solving skills to customer technology challenges. This role requires solid coding experience and a commitment to delivering practical, high-quality solutions.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Contribute tosolution design, data models, integration patterns, and automation strategies.
  • Build and enhance Power Apps, Dataverse solutions, and Power Automate workflows.
  • Develop Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and public-facing Power Pages solutions.
  • Support data pipeline development connecting public-facing ports, external users, and CDC internal systems.
  • Participate in backlog refinement and technical solutioning activities.
  • Modernize legacy applications and business processes.
  • Review assigned code, configurations, and solution components for quality and maintainability.
  • Configure and maintain Dataverse tables, forms, views, and business rules.
  • Create andmaintainPower Automate workflows and approval processes.
  • Migrate legacy business processes to Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution design.
  • Support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Troubleshoot defects andimplementcorrective actions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Support production deployments, operational maintenance, and release management.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.

$115,000 - $145,000 a year

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, TrueTandem considers several factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
