Job summary

ITA International, headquartered in Newport News, VA, seeks a Mid-Level Business Analyst to support U.S. Army T2COM missions from Fort Eustis in a hybrid role.

The analyst will bridge government stakeholders, users, and technical teams to translate needs into actionable tech requirements leveraging the Power Platform. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in business analysis, strong Agile experience, and familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, process improvement, requirements analysis, or related field.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and system requirements.
• Experience developing: Business requirements documents, Functional requirements, User stories, Use cases, Acceptance criteria, Process flows, Test cases, Requirements traceability documentation.
• Experience working with business users, functional stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum or iterative software development environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary liaison between T2COM mission stakeholders, business users, and technical delivery teams.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, working sessions, and requirements-gathering activities.
• Analyze existing business processes, systems, workflows, and operational procedures to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes using process modeling techniques.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve mission efficiency through Power Platform and other digital solutions.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, use cases, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Work with Power Platform developers and solutions architects to ensure feasibility and correct implementation.
• Maintain requirements backlog and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Develop process flows, wireframes, and data-flow diagrams to communicate business needs.
• Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) and test cases.
