Job summary

ITA International seeks a Mid-Level Power BI Data Analyst in a hybrid role at Fort Eustis, VA, to support the U.S. Army T2COM mission. You will analyze, model, and visualize data to deliver actionable insights for mission operations and leadership decision-making.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in BI/data analytics and at least 2+ years of Power BI development experience, with strong SQL, data modeling, and governance knowledge. Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data analysis, BI, reporting or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to translate requirements into analytical products.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Azure data sources.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and analytical solutions.
• Gather and analyze reporting and data requirements from government stakeholders and mission users.
• Translate business questions and mission requirements into meaningful data and visualization solutions.
• Identify data sources and develop repeatable data extraction, transformation, and preparation processes.
• Use Power Query to connect, transform, cleanse, and combine data from multiple sources.
• Develop efficient and scalable Power BI semantic models.
• Develop and maintain DAX measures and calculated columns/tables.
• Design intuitive dashboards and reports for operational users, program managers, analysts, and leadership.
• Connect Power BI to Dataverse, SQL, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, Microsoft 365, and other data sources.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
• Document data sources, transformations, and report logic.
• Support deployment and lifecycle management across development, test, and production environments.
• Stay current with Microsoft Power BI and related data platform capabilities.
