Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture, design, development, deployment, and support of Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages).
  • Design and implement enterprise applications, automation, forms, portals, and collaboration solutions to deliver measurable business value.
  • Lead solution design activities for architecture, security, deployment planning and environment strategy.
  • Develop AI-powered capabilities using Copilot Studio and Microsoft AI services to enhance productivity and processes.
  • Create integrations between Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, ERP systems, and external apps.

About the Position

Nexus Innovations is seeking a passionate and experienced Power Platform Architectwho enjoys solving complex business challenges and helping organizations transform the way they work. In this role, you will collaborate directly with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design, build, and support modern business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure, and related cloud technologies.

The Power Platform Architect serves as both a trusted advisor and solution architect, helping clients understand technology possibilities while translating business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. You will lead the design and implementation of applications, process automations, integrations, AI-enabled capabilities, and enterprise modernization initiatives that improve operations, increase efficiency, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture, design, development, deployment, and support of Microsoft Power Platform solutions, with a primary focus on Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
  • Design and develop enterprise applications, intelligent agents, workflow automations, forms, portals, and collaboration solutions that streamline operations, improve user experiences, and deliver measurable business value.
  • Lead solution design activities for business applications including application architecture, integration architecture, security design, environment strategy, and deployment planning.
  • Design and implement AI-powered solutions using Copilot Studio, Power Platform AI capabilities, and Microsoft AI services to enhance productivity, knowledge access, and business processes.
  • Develop integrations between Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Dynamics 365, ERP systems, databases, APIs, custom services, and third-party applications to create connected business solutions.
  • Partner directly with clients, business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to understand business objectives, facilitate discovery sessions, gather requirements, and design impactful technology solutions or implementation roadmaps.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by evaluating business processes, identifying opportunities for automation and modernization, and recommending strategic solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and solution guidance to consultants, developers, and project teams while helping evolve Nexus' Power Platform, SharePoint, AI, and application development practices.
  • Apply industry and Microsoft best practices related to governance, security, compliance, performance, DevOps, application lifecycle management (ALM), and solution supportability.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and automation issues while continuously improving the reliability, usability, scalability, and maintainability of delivered solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, solution designs, support procedures, training materials, and knowledge transfer documentation for clients and internal teams.
  • Facilitate solution reviews, demonstrations, workshops, and training events to ensure successful adoption and long-term client success.
  • Support business development efforts through solution envisioning, architecture reviews, technical assessments, project estimation, proposal development, and proposal presentation.
  • Stay current with emerging Microsoft cloud, AI, Power Platform, SharePoint, and Azure technologies and proactively identify opportunities to deliver additional value for clients.
  • Actively contribute to Nexus' culture of continuous learning, servant leadership, collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing while helping clients and teammates achieve success.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft-based business solutions, including Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure, and related cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on experience building and supporting Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate solutions, Dataverse applications, Microsoft Power Pages portals, Copilot Studio agents, and enterprise workflow automation solutions.
  • Experience designing solutions that improve business processes, replace manual work, drive operational efficiency, and integrate between Microsoft solutions and line-of-business applications.
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients, business stakeholders, and end users to gather requirements, facilitate discovery sessions, and translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
  • Experience operating within consulting, professional services, or customer-facing environments is strongly preferred.

Hours and Travel
