Job summary

JM Family College Internship Program invites students to apply for the Power Platform & Analytics Intern role in Mobile, AL. You will work full-time during the Summer Internship Program (May 24th, 2027 - July 30th, 2027) and contribute to Credit Reporting and Speech Analytics initiatives.

Expect hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related data tools while learning JM Family’s core values and culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, data science, information systems, or related field.
• Active enrollment in a qualifying degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Lists.
• Experience with Excel, Power Query, and data visualization techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; eager to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop business apps, workflows, and automation using Power Apps, Power Automate, Lists, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
• Support Speech Analytics by analyzing customer interaction data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Build dashboards and reports with Power BI, Excel, and Power Query.
• Collaborate with Credit Reporting and Operations to document requirements and translate needs into solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual, repetitive processes to boost efficiency and data visibility.
• Document solutions to support adoption, training, and ongoing maintenance.

The JM Family College Internship Program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team’s success, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events and much more.The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program ( May 24th, 2027 - July 30th, 2027 ).Interns will engage in meaningful work and gain insights into specific projects or tasks, providing hands-on experience, and contributing to various department initiatives. These core values are part of our keys to success and the skills that embody these values are what drive our success as an organization.As a Power Platform & Analytics Intern , you will support Credit Reporting and Speech Analytics initiatives focused on process automation, data analytics, reporting, and operational improvement. You will gain hands-on experience using Microsoft Power Platform and analytical tools to develop practical solutions that improve operational efficiency, data visibility, and the employee and customer experience. You will collaborate with Credit Reporting and Operations teams to understand business needs, streamline manual processes, and support data-driven decision making.Responsibilities:Design and develop business applications, workflows, and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Lists, and other Microsoft 365 tools.Support Speech Analytics initiatives by analyzing customer interaction data to identify trends, customer friction points, and opportunities for operational improvement.Develop and enhance dashboards, reporting, and data visualizations using Power BI, Excel, and Power Query.Partner with Credit Reporting and Operations stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate identified needs into practical solutions.Identify opportunities to automate manual or repetitive processes, helping improve operational efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and data visibility.Document solutions and processes to support effective adoption, use, and ongoing maintenance by the business.Contribute to digital transformation efforts that strengthen analytics and reporting capabilities, support compliance and reporting processes, and enhance employee and customer experiences.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university, with a focus in a relevant field. Candidates in related fields will also be considered. Must have completed at least one semester of coursework.Relevant fields of study include Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Lists.Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and data visualization techniques.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology or analytical solutions.Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements depending on the business needThis job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of JM Family.
