Position Title: Power Platform Administrator (CoE & Governance)

About The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Power Platform Administrator to own and enhance our enterprise Microsoft Power Platform environment. This is a highly visible role where you'll drive platform governance, administration, security, and operational excellence while helping mature a growing Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE). You'll partner closely with Architecture, Security, QA, and Delivery teams to create a secure, scalable, and developer-friendly platform that empowers both professional and citizen developers to build impactful business solutions.
What You'll Do
Platform Administration & Operations
- Administer and support enterprise Microsoft Power Platform environments, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Managed Environments
- Manage environment provisioning, configuration, security roles, access controls, service accounts, and platform lifecycle management
- Monitor platform health, licensing, capacity, utilization, and performance to ensure reliability and scalability
- Establish operational monitoring, incident management processes, and administrative runbooks
- Automate administrative tasks and reporting using PowerShell, Power Platform administration tools, and supported automation capabilities
- Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate resolution across technical teams
Governance & Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Develop and enforce enterprise Power Platform governance standards and operating procedures
- Design and manage environment strategies across Development, Test, UAT, and Production
- Implement and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, connector governance, security controls, and compliance standards
- Lead Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices, including: Managed Solutions, Deployment Pipelines, Environment Variables, Connection References, Source Control Integration
- Establish secure, repeatable, and auditable deployment processes
- Evaluate Microsoft Power Platform releases and new features, providing recommendations on adoption and platform standards
Center of Excellence (CoE) Enablement
- Support the growth and maturity of the Power Platform Center of Excellence
- Create governance documentation, development standards, reusable templates, and self-service resources
- Provide guidance to developers, citizen developers, and business stakeholders on platform best practices
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, office hours, and enablement initiatives that drive adoption
- Develop reporting and KPIs related to platform adoption, governance compliance, utilization, and operational effectiveness
- Identify opportunities to streamline administration, improve governance, and enhance the developer experience
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience administering Microsoft Power Platform in an enterprise environment
- Deep expertise with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Platform Admin Center, and Managed Environments
- Proven experience implementing enterprise Power Platform governance frameworks and supporting a Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Strong understanding of: Environment Management, Security Models, DLP Policies, Connector Governance, Licensing and Capacity Management
- Experience implementing and supporting ALM best practices and deployment automation
- Hands‑on experience with Power Platform administration tools, reporting, monitoring, and PowerShell
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, service principals, and identity management
- Experience supporting production environments, troubleshooting platform issues, and managing operational risk
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control best practices
- Experience supporting Dynamics 365 or ERP‑integrated Power Platform solutions
- Knowledge of Agile and SAFe delivery methodologies
- Experience supporting citizen developer communities, governance programs, or Communities of Practice
Microsoft Certifications (preferred) Such As
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
