Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Power Platform Administrator to manage and govern the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI-enabled solutions. The role requires hybrid work with 3 days onsite at the Newton, MA headquarters and collaboration across IT, FinOps, and business units.

Responsibilities include ALM, environment provisioning, CoE toolkit maintenance, and ensuring FERPA/GDPR compliance across US, UK, and NL environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years Power Platform experience (Azure preferred).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Managed Environments and ALM pipelines.
  • Experience with governance, DLP configurations, and licensing optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end administration of the Power Platform tenant across environments.
  • Implement and maintain the 4-zone environment strategy and DLP policy enforcement.
  • Govern Power Platform assets and ensure compliance with governance standards.

Primary PurposeThe Power Platform Administrator is responsible for the administration, governance, and strategic enablement of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps,Power Automate, Power Pages, CopilotStudio, and related AI capabilities. Whether you’re caring for children or powering the systems and partnerships that make it all possible, at Bright Horizons, you’re the difference.Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end administration of the Power Platform tenant, including development, test, user acceptance, and production environmentsImplement and maintain the 4-zone environment strategy, including data loss prevention (DLP)policy enforcement, application lifecycle management (ALM) pipelines, and Managed EnvironmentsManage the environment provisioning lifecycle and drive continuous improvements in operations efficiency and service deliveryAdminister on-premises data gateway patching, monitoring, and security controlsMaintain the Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit and reporting framework to support platform governance and adoptionGovern Power Platform assets, including applications, flows, and AI enabled solutions, ensuring compliance with governance standards and remediation of noncompliant assetsEnforce FERPA and GDPR obligations across US, UK, and NL environmentsIdentify, prioritize, and resolve governance, security, and compliance issues within the platform environmentsDrive DLP policy design, Power Pages security hardening, and connector access controlsServe as the primary contact for Power Platform security assessments and audit responsesGovern Copilot Studio agents, AI Builder models, and Agent Builder deployments in alignment with enterprise AI strategy and governance requirementsDevelop and manage capacity allocation and consumption strategies to optimize licensing, utilization and cost efficiency.Define and enforce guardrails for AI agent publishing, data access, and external connector usageMonitor AI-related consumption, flag anomalies, and collaborate with FinOps to optimize licensing and billingSupport business units extending D365 via Power Platform for reporting, automation, and integrationsManage Power Platform environments tied to D365 Sales, Customer Service, and related workloadsPartner with the D365 team to accelerate the platform maturity curve following the February 2026 launchEnable and govern Power Pages portals connected to D365 environmentsProvide ALM support and environment guidance to citizen developers and business unit makersDeliver onboarding, training, and best-practice guidance to platform users and makersReview and approve environment, connector and platform requests in alignment with governance policies and standardsCollaborate with the Azure team on hybrid connectivity and infrastructure dependenciesPartner with the FinOps team to monitor Power Platform licensing spend, capacity utilization, and cost optimization opportunitiesIdentify and resolve licensing, billing and capacity management issues to ensure effective platform operationsProduce monthly platform spend and utilization reports for IT leadershipMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeIn lieu of a degree, an additional 3 years of experience may be considered3 years Power Platform experience (Azure preferred)Preferred Qualifications:Experience administering Dynamics 365 environments and Power Platform–D365 integrationsFamiliarity with Microsoft Managed Environments, pipelines for ALM, and advanced DLP configurationsWorking knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure integration services, or on-premises data gatewaysExperience with FinOps principles and Microsoft licensing optimization (capacity vs. PAYGO models)Hands-on experience with the CoE Starter Kit — deployment, customization, and reportingExposure to multi-region, multi-regulatory environments (US, UK, EU)At this time, Bright Horizons will not sponsor an applicant for employment authorization/visa for this position.Be part of a community where people grow, futures are shaped, and lives are changed. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.
