Astute People is partnering with a leading power plant operator in Massachusetts to recruit a Plant Technician for its Springfield, MA site.

The Plant Technician (Level 3) role comes with a competitive rate of $40 to $52 per hour, 401K match, bonus, and profit sharing scheme.

Responsibilities and duties

• Perform pre-planned and breakdown maintenance.
• Troubleshoot & diagnose faults.
• Document maintenance work on the maintenance management system.
• Work with the site's Operations team to ensure the plant is available to run efficiently.
• Pass on knowledge to other team members.
• Ensure all work adheres to strict health and safety procedures.

We are looking for someone with the following:

• 4 to 6 years of experience gained in a power plant setting.
• Hold a 2nd Class state license or a 3rd Class license and be willing to train.
• College Degree Program or High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Salary and benefits of the Plant Technician (Level 3) role

• A salary of $80K - $120K, dependent on experience.
