Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of power generation projects. You will lead 5–10 person teams with project budgets up to $500,000, typically 6–18 months, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (any discipline).
• 3-5 years of project management experience on power generation projects.
• Power generation experience (not transmission or distribution).
• Simple cycle experience.
• PMP/PE certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans, monitors and manages multiple small projects (6–18 months) incl initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
• Develops and presents comprehensive project plans to sponsors and management for approvals.
• Leads project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting and troubleshooting.
• Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
• Oversees schedules and ensures timely delivery of materials and resources.
• Ensures project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
• Provides timely and accurate status updates to teams, management, and sponsors.
