Job summary

The Bethlehem Energy Center, a CAMS facility, is seeking a Production Technician Operator C to oversee start/stop procedures for gas and steam turbine units and related plant equipment. You will perform routine tests, monitor water/steam chemistry, and ensure safe operation in a large, combined-cycle setting in Bethlehem, NY.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in power generation, mechanical knowledge, and valid First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• 2+ years power generation experience preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical equipment and process systems.
• CPR/AED certification and basic first aid knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Start and stop gas and steam turbine generators and related equipment under supervision.
• Perform routine operational tests and inspections on boilers, turbines, and water treatment facilities.
• Execute safe Lock Out Tag Out procedures on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs.
• Communicate plant conditions and supervise housekeeping duties.
