Job summary

FuelCell Energy in Torrington, CT seeks a Test & Conditioning Technician to support final assembly, conditioning, and testing of fuel cells. You will install cells into the balance of plant, run startup sequences, monitor thermal cycles, and ensure readiness for shipment.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, crane operation, and data entry into ERP systems, with a 12-hour shift pattern and on-site work at Torrington facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; AS Degree preferred.
• Experience: 1 year in power plant operations/maintenance or equivalent.
• Troubleshooting instrument, electrical and mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Integrate fuel cell modules and condition new units.
• Set up, calibrate, test circuits and components.
• Prepare test specifications from blueprints and diagrams.
• Operate cranes and move heavy equipment safely.
• Input data into ERP and Work Management software.
• Write procedures and perform maintenance tasks.
