Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with four years of experience and license.
• Associate degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of power plant mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to learn site-specific systems and subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain power plant equipment, including startup/shutdown of major components.
• Conduct routine tours and inspections, and report abnormalities.
• Maintain shift logs, time sheets, and work orders with accuracy.
• Perform routine cycle chemistry testing and monitor consumables.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs under supervision.
