Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent experience required.
• At least 5 years of supervision of technical/administrative personnel.
• 10+ years in power plant or similar operations experience.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Directs plant operations to ensure safe, compliant and efficient generating performance.
• Reviews and improves operational processes and ensures training adherence.
• Implements start-up/shutdown/normal/abnormal and emergency procedures.
• Manages operation budgets and recommends operating/capital expenditures.
• Coordinates plant safety programs with EH&S supervision.
• Acts as liaison with ISO-NE Lead Market participant and transmission operator for data exchange.
• Oversees personnel functions related to NERC Reliability Standards and incident reporting.
