Job summary

San Antonio Regional Hospital is seeking a Power Plant Operator responsible for operating, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the power plant and auxiliary equipment. You will work with generators, cogeneration systems, boilers, chillers, and related process equipment to ensure reliable facility operations.

Required are 3–5 years of plant operation experience, a high school diploma, and basic pump/electrical/boiler knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3–5 years in plant operation and equipment repair in a commercial facility or institution preferred.
• Knowledge: Basic pump maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, boiler operation, blueprint reading, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, repair and maintain the power plant and related equipment.
• Maintain cogeneration, sterilizers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and boilers.
• Ensure safety and reliability of plant operations and comply with licensing requirements.
