Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Mechanic Trainee to learn maintenance on power station mechanical equipment, including overhauling pumps, turbines and rotating equipment. Overtime, planned and emergency, is required. The 42-month program offers paid progression at rates based on experience and competencies.

Employment does not provide visa sponsorship or relocation assistance. Starting hourly rate is $26.33, with a comprehensive benefits package described in the offer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2+ years of experience operating/maintaining major industrial equipment.
• Willingness to work occasional planned and emergency overtime.
• Strongly prefer power plant/power generation maintenance experience or welding/machinist experience.

Responsibilities
