Job summary

EthosEnergy is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a state-of-the-art 450 MW power plant in Spartanburg, SC. You will drive electrical system reliability, capital project execution, and maintenance planning while guiding a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in electrical engineering, leadership experience, and a background in power generation or heavy industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 7–10 years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical teams, engineering projects or maintenance programs.
• Desirable greenfield power plant development experience.
• Desirable experience with aeroderivative turbines and reciprocating engine generators.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary Engineering team to ensure electrical reliability and asset health.
• Direct electrical system design, switchgear, relays, transformers, generators and protections.
• Oversee maintenance strategies, PM programs, and RCA/FMEA activities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (NERC, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
• Coordinate contractors and manage engineering documentation and commissioning.
