Job summary

Sprague Resources GP LLC is seeking a Control Room Operator for our Springfield, NH facility. This role leads daily plant operations from the control room, monitors instrumentation, and ensures safe, reliable power generation with a strong emphasis on process safety and teamwork.

The CRO will operate PLC-based controls and older analog systems, maintain logs, and coordinate with maintenance and management while adhering to DuPont-style schedules (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next).

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Power Plant operations and/or maintenance experience required.
• Basic math and data entry skills.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, operate, shut down and secure equipment from the control room.
• Troubleshoot and assist maintenance activities.
• Follow lockout-tagout procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain plant logs and records of operating conditions.
• Monitor process variables and respond to deviations.
• Supervise or coordinate contractors on site.
