Energy Transfer offers a twelve-week paid internship beginning May 2027. The Power Optimization Intern role focuses on planning, coordination, and integration of electric power services for Energy Transfer projects.

You will work with Operations, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and external utility providers to develop dashboards and performance metrics. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to utility coordination, data validation, and analytics across the project lifecycle, while supporting daily

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Petroleum, or related Engineering
• Strong problem-solvers with curiosity, drive, and teamwork skills
• Summer 2026 internships

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support dashboards for power development and optimization using SEEQ, DataPARC, and Power BI
• Translate commercial development or trading strategies into actionable visualizations and metrics
• Monitor and analyze real-time and historical data to identify trends and optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with business development, power traders, settlements, IT and operations teams to ensure data accuracy
