Job summary

NVIDIA is looking for a member of the Architecture Energy Modeling Team in Austin, Texas, to contribute to energy modeling techniques for next generation GPUs and SOCs. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze energy usage in graphics and AI workloads.

The position requires strong coding skills in Python and C++, along with a MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering. NVIDIA fosters a diverse work environment and offers a base salary ranging from $116,000 to $218,500, depending on level and experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong coding skills, preferably in Python and C++.
• Ability to formulate and analyze algorithms, and comment on their runtime and memory complexities.
• Understanding of VLSI, digital design, and computer architecture concepts.
• Basic understanding of power consumption and low power design.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement tools for efficient data generation from post-layout netlists.
• Develop infrastructure to sanitize metrics for high correlation accuracy.
• Identify runtime and memory limitations of existing tools to expedite model delivery.
• Mine data from performance runs to improve power efficiency.
• Enable visualization of data using platforms such as PowerBI.
