Job summary

Dell Technologies in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Hardware, Mechanical Power Engineer for the Federal Customer to design, integrate, validate, and sustain mission-critical infrastructure. This on-site role focuses on power, mechanical integration, and supporting the reliability of security-conscious systems.

You will collaborate with security, network, and field teams, develop test plans, create documentation, and translate requirements into resilient hardware solutions in a TS/SCI environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering, hardware engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related roles.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and support system integration efforts.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, validation, or lab/test activities.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a secure operational environment.
• Active TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required by the program.

Responsibilities

• Support system design, requirements analysis, and technical solution development.
• Integrate and validate hardware, infrastructure, and subsystem components.
• Develop or execute test plans, procedures, and technical evaluations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues involving systems, hardware, or infrastructure.
• Contribute to rack, power, cooling, cabling, and physical integration planning as applicable.
• Produce technical documentation, diagrams, procedures, and support artifacts.
• Coordinate with security, network, automation, and field teams during implementation.
• Recommend improvements that enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability.
