Job summary

IGS Energy seeks a Power Supply Analyst to support the power supply team responsible for managing risk within the power portfolio, including price curves, hedging, and ISO interactions.

You will update daily reports, publish forward curves, build models in Excel, and conduct market analysis while developing relationships with suppliers and utilities. A bachelor’s in an analytical field and SQL experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0 to 5 years in power/commodity markets preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in analytical field.
• Strong Excel modeling and data analysis skills.
• Experience with SQL or similar data retrieval.
• Analytical thinker with collaborative and credible approach.

Responsibilities

• Update daily power position report for deal flow accuracy.
• Publish and validate power forward curves for pricing models.
• Hedge risk in power portfolio and perform market analysis.
• Develop relationships with supplier, grid, and utility contacts.
• Support auction and RFP qualification requirements.
• Produce regular market reporting to support C& I Sales.
• Provide ad hoc analyses for supply and internal requests.
• Develop power market expertise for model building.
• Cross-cover other Power Supply responsibilities.
