Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Test Engineering Technician in Delaware, OH within the Product Integrity department of Power Management. You will set up units under test, configure instrumentation, run test cases, collect data, and document results.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or military cert in electronics/EE.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Broad knowledge of electrical and mechanical test techniques.
  • Experience with 208/230/480V/600V 3-phase wiring and equipment.
  • Experience with 120v 1-phase 60Hz wiring and equipment.
  • Experience with instrumentation and low voltage wiring.
  • Proficient with Word/Excel.
  • Able to read electrical schematics and perform testing.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety policies and lead by example.
  • Set up unit under test and connect equipment (large cables).
  • Configure instrumentation (oscilloscopes, meters, CTs, probes).
  • Execute test cases, operate unit and collect data.
  • Document results and observations in test records.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues with test setups and units.
  • Suggest continuous improvement opportunities.
