Job description

MediaTek’s Analog Design and Circuit Technology Business Unit is Hiring a Power Management Integrated Circuit Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and verify power management blocks at both the behavioral and transistor levels, including LDOs, SMPS (buck, boost, buck-boost), voltage references, and other analog circuits, ensuring they meet power, performance, and area specifications.
• Summarize and interpret the results of complex performance checks and report findings to project leaders.
• Work closely with IC/PCB layout engineers to ensure the performance and quality of designs.
• Perform functional and parameter bench verification in collaboration with application engineers.
• Draft and review datasheets.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in the analog IC design industry.
• Proficiency with Cadence IC design tools.
• Experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters (DMMs), and electronic loads.
• Experience in switching regulator design.
• Knowledge of device physics and device reliability analysis.

Salary range: $138,000-$247,000

Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
