Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Laurinburg, NC seeks an Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment and remove branches from electrical lines. You will plan and coordinate tasks with the crew and ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities include operating power saws, chippers, sprayers, and other gear; maintaining equipment; obtaining access from property owners; and maintaining good customer relations. Must be 18+ and have a valid driver license; familiarity with tree species; pre-employment

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possesses working knowledge and be able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Operates and services equipment such as power saws, chipper, sprayers, and weed whacker.
• Cleans up and disposes of debris.
• Performs labor to keep crew operation flowing.
• Ensures safety and production requirements.
• Obtains access permissions from property owners.
