Job summary

Teradyne in North Reading, MA seeks a Power Infrastructure Engineer to develop tester power subassemblies and system-level architectures for next-generation semiconductor test equipment. You will drive power design, safety testing, and roadmap initiatives in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Successful candidates have 6+ years of related experience with a BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred), hands-on power design skills, and familiarity with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong experience with 208V/480V power design and schematic development.
• Familiarity with IEC safety and EMC standards for lab testing.
• PCB design experience is a plus.
• Willing to travel up to 10% domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tester power subassemblies and system-level architecture.
• Support product safety and EMC testing processes.
• Develop power architecture roadmap and coordinate with manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with mechanical design and NPI teams throughout development.
• Contribute to long-term technical capability roadmaps and innovation.
