Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Utah is seeking a conscientious Warehouse Operator to safely operate a sit-down forklift and support the production line in a fast-paced packaging facility. You will read tape measures, perform basic math, follow exact directions, keep a clean, safe work area, and be ready to work longer hours including days, nights and weekends.

2+ years forklift experience is preferred and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; a drug screening is required after a conditional

• Lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.; stand, walk, bend, and kneel during shifts.
• Flexibility to work longer hours including days, nights and weekends.
• 2+ years experience operating a sit-down forklift preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The Opportunity

Primary duties include safely operating a lift truck or roll grab while performing a wide range of tasks in the warehouse or plant. What You Need To Succeed

• Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assigned
• Ability to work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety regulations
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills
• Ability to lift, push and/or pull 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift
• Flexibility to work longer hours; which include days, nights, and weekends
• 2+ years’ experience operating a sit-down forklift is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
