Qualifications

We are recruiting a Power/HVAC Technician to join the world's largest equipment rental provider supporting customers throughout Ohio. This role focuses primarily on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel-powered generators and related power equipment, with occasional work on HVAC, dehumidification, and air quality systems. Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel‑powered generators and related power generation equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, cooling, and pneumatic systems

• Support maintenance and repair of HVAC, dehumidification, and air quality equipment as needed

• Travel occasionally to customer sites throughout Ohio to support equipment service needs

• Demonstrate equipment operation and functionality to customers while delivering excellent customer service

• Assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery as needed and maintain a professional, safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience maintaining or repairing diesel engines, generators, heavy equipment, trucks, or HVAC equipment
• Diesel mechanics strongly encouraged to apply
• Intermediate troubleshooting and repair skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Own basic technician tools relevant to the position
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
