Job summary

United Rentals in Arlington, TX is seeking a Power HVAC Mechanic to perform maintenance and minor repairs on diesel engines, HVAC, and dehumidification/purification equipment across rental and customer sites. You will document service activities, travel to customer sites as needed, and demonstrate equipment to customers.

A high school diploma and 1–2 years of relevant experience are required, along with a valid driver's license and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment.
• Intermediate diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic and other systems.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
