Ontivity Llc in the United States seeks a Generator Technician to perform advanced diagnostics and field service, troubleshoot ATS systems, read schematics, and provide clear repair recommendations.

The Generator Technician is an advanced technician capable of complex diagnostics and independent field operations.
Perform ATS troubleshooting and read schematics
Advanced diagnostics on generator systems
Provide clear and confident repair recommendations
Hold Liquid-Cooled and Industrial Certifications
Use manufacturer software for system configuration
Operate independently and support junior technicians
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, file management, email)
Follow safety protocols and procedures

This job operates in a field environment. Must be in good physical condition with the ability to routinely bend, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, lift 50lbs or more, lift in awkward positions, stand, and twist for extended periods.
Must be willing to travel out of the market/state for up to two weeks at a time.
May be required to work long and unpredictable hours.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background, drug testing, and DOT physical.
Must be willing to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive company vehicles. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus.
Must be able to work in a team environment and be a valued member of the crew and the company.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have basic computer skills.
Must be able to use an demonstrate advanced electrical knowledge
Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the proper use of common power/hand tools.
Must be able to communicate in person, by phone, and by email with team members and clients.
Must be able to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
Must be able to work on a team and independently as required.
No supervisory requirements
This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 5:00 pm with overtime requirements or as directed by leadership. The work schedule is subject to change depending on market conditions which may require overtime, night work and/or weekend work.
Depending on market location and/or conditions, travel may be required. Travel requirements are subject to change.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED), related trade school education preferred
