Job summary

A power solutions provider in Midland, Texas is looking for a Shop Technician to maintain and repair power generation equipment. This role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime through routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems in natural gas generators. The ideal candidate has experience with generator troubleshooting and must be able to work safely and efficiently. Preferred qualifications include trade school background and systematic problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must pass background and drug screen.
• General knowledge of job safety and production flow in a shop.
• Engine overhaul experience is a plus.
• Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot, maintain mechanical and electrical systems of natural gas generators.
• Perform preventative maintenance on generators.
• Maintain fit-for-duty status for each shift.
