Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a Shop Technician - Power to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas reciprocating engine equipment used in power generation operations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork.

As part of the shop team, you will collaborate with the Shop Manager to ensure equipment runs efficiently and safely, performing inspections, routine maintenance, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of power engine equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repairs on reciprocating engine equipment used in power generation.
• Inspects equipment regularly to identify problems and ensure safety/standards.
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance, parts, and time spent.
• Follows safety procedures and participates in safety trainings.
• Collaborates with Shop Manager and team to improve efficiency.
• Ensures repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
