Job summary

Interstate Companies, Inc. is seeking a motivated Power Generation Service Sales Representative to support our Butler, Wisconsin location and to grow our business footprint in Fox Valley, Green Bay, Madison, and Southeast Wisconsin.

You will generate new business opportunities, nurture existing client relationships, and promote our generator services to meet sales targets in a dynamic organization with multiple operating units.

Qualifications

Interstate Power Systems is looking for a Power Generation Service Sales Representative to support our Butler Wisconsin location and to grow our business footprint in Fox Valley, Green Bay, Madison, and Southeast Wisconsin.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Generator Service Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and promoting our range of generator services to meet sales targets.

Power Generation Service Sales Representative Job Duties:

• The primary duties of this position will be to actively promote product sales and service in the assigned territory.
• Secure product orders from new and existing customers for new equipment sales and service contracts
• Actively identify and develop new customer contacts to expand market share.
• Assist customers in solving problems and provide technical support.
• Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, engineering firms and facility managers to promote Interstate Power Systems products and services.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and company as needed to ensure that the customer needs are adequately met.

Power Generation Service Sales Representative Desired Skills and Qualities

• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• A self-starter who can identify the strengths presents in a location and utilize those strengths to develop a positive business plan.
• Proven background in sales
• Clear driving record
• Available for overnight travel
• High school degree or equivalent required
• 3+ years recent/relevant experience with outside sales
• Experience in distribution, industrial and/or heavy equipment a plus
