Job summary

Stanley Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for Power Generation projects in the Austin area with hybrid work options across multiple U.S. locations.

You will lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management for large, multi-discipline energy projects while mentoring other PMs and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years of experience in the Energy Engineering Industry with a minimum of 5 years in project management.
• Experience in Thermal Generation projects such as Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Reciprocating Engines and BOP design.
• Firm understanding of PMP Principles.
• Demonstrated capabilities and success in managing large multi-discipline programs, projects, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Experience in Design Bid Build project delivery methods.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• PMI Certification.
• Experience in Design Build, GMP, and EPC project delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of medium to large multiple discipline engineering projects with stakeholders across locations.
• Support business development through project scoping, fee development, proposal preparation, interviews, negotiations, and contract development.
• Define project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, vendor lists, and progress billing points after award.
• Form a project team and ensure responsibilities are assigned and tasks executed on schedule.
• Submit documents to federal, state, and local authorities for code compliance and obtain permits.
• Meet with client management to resolve issues and obtain approvals at project completion.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with clients as part of business development.
• Plan, organize, communicate, and coordinate project engagements.
• Manage day-to-day activities with clients and project stakeholders.
