Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Supervisor, Power Generation Fluid Systems in Brownsville, TX to lead technicians fabricating, installing, testing piping for natural gas, demineralized water, cooling water, and ammonia systems from prefab to field tie-in.

You will direct multi-shift work, hire/train the crew, and ensure leak-tight, code-compliant installations while collaborating with engineers to translate drawings into hardware and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with piping, valves, pumps, and instrumentation.
• Experience leading fluid-systems crews in production or plant environments.
• Ability to read P&IDs and isometrics and translate to field work.
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends.
• ITAR eligibility as required by SpaceX.

Responsibilities

• Supervise prefab/spool yard and field fluid-system work.
• Lead and manage a staff of fluid systems technicians.
• Organize, assign, and track work across shifts.
• Fabricate, install, and tie in fluid system components per drawings.
• Own plant fluid systems for gas-turbine power generation.
• Read and interpret work instructions, P&IDs, and data sheets.
• Perform hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing; troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure quality and conformance to specifications and codes.
