The Kinsley Group, in partnership with TechPath, offers a paid, hands-on training program for aspiring Field Service Technicians in the power generation industry. The program combines classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and mentorship to prepare you for a full-time role.

Training begins with 5 weeks on-site in Syracuse, followed by continued field training with experienced technicians, building skills in diesel and automotive fundamentals, electrical systems, and mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 5–6 weeks of structured, on-site technical training.
• Learn diesel and automotive fundamentals, including electrical systems and mechanical components.
• Complete hands-on, on-the-job training with experienced Field Service Technicians.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Follow safety standards and company procedures.
• Build customer service and communication skills.
• Participate in regular check-ins, evaluations, and skill assessments.
