Job summary

Penn Power Systems is seeking a qualified power generation field service technician to work on equipment ranging from 300kW to 4.0MW. The role requires a blend of mechanical and electrical capabilities and the ability to work independently or in teams.

The successful candidate will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical problems, read schematics, and ensure safe, reliable operation at customer sites across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs of back-up power generation equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, switchgear, batteries, motors, relays and generator components; strong AC/DC power skills required.
• Read and interpret schematics; maintain safety and documentation during field service.
