Job summary

United Engines in North Little Rock, AR is hiring an Electrical Field Service Apprentice Technician at 11800 Maybelline Rd. You will learn preventative maintenance and routine repairs on customer power generation equipment at the customer's site under guidance from senior technicians.

You will work with senior technicians, retrieve parts, complete work orders, maintain safety, and develop written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma or equivalent, no prior experience required.
• Technical/other training or better preferred.
• Less than 1 year basic mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic parts, processes, and maintenance techniques as instructed by senior Field Service Technicians.
• Work with senior Field Service Technicians to troubleshoot and diagnose routine problems with customer equipment.
• Retrieve parts and supplies for more senior technicians.
• Complete all work orders and time sheets legibly, accurately and timely.
• Provide assistance to senior technicians on larger jobs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Be dependable and trustworthy.
• Use available time to organize and complete work within deadlines.
• Communicate in writing clearly and concisely and in spoken language effectively.

United Engines is Now Hiring a Electrical Field Service Apprentice Technician at 11800 Maybelline Rd North Little Rock, AR 72117. Responsible for learning how to perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs at the customer’s place of business on customer’s power generation equipment, as instructed by senior level Electrical Field Service Technicians and Group Leaders.

• Learn basic parts, processes, and maintenance techniques as instructed by more senior level Field Service Technicians
• Technicians Work with more senior level Field Service Technicians to understand how to accurately troubleshoot and diagnose routine problems with customer\'s equipment.
• Retrieve parts and other supplies for more senior level Field Service Technicians.
• Learn how to complete all work orders and time sheets in a legible, accurate and timely manner.
• Provide assistance to more senior level Field Service Technicians on larger jobs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
